- Welcoming Team
- The Berean Welcoming Team ministers to the new visitors at our church. We greet and welcome first time visitors to our services and introduce them to various ministries. Our team is available to direct returning visitors in learning more about Berean. For those who want to become members of the church, we help them along in that process. In these ways we hope to follow the biblical command of being a loving and hospitable church. We pray that all our efforts will contribute to the building up of the church in true faith and worship.

- Outreach Team
- The Local Outreach Team is responsible for all local outreach through the church. Our desire is to provide opportunities for church members to be able to reach out to the community around us. We do this through organizing various outreach events throughout the year. Vigilant and earnest prayer is also essential in this ministry. As we preach the message of Christ, it is absolutely imperative that we beseech the Lord to open the hearts of these people to respond to the message that they hear.
As God called each one of his children to go and make disciples of the nations, we have a responsibility to share the gospel with those in our own community. The goal of this team is not to create activities for our enjoyment, or to create a type of evangelism where we are centered on what will attract people to come to church by any means. But our goal is to shine Christ through the body of the church through special outreach events, local mission trips, local campus evangelism, and providing opportunities for church members to bring friends, families, and loved ones to hear the gospel. - Outreach Team Blog >

- Lunch Team
- In the early days of Berean, when we were 40 members or so, the members used to eat lunch at public fast food places together after service. The lunch time was a great time to fellowship with fellow members. It made us feel like family. As the church grew in number, it was evident that it would be difficult to keep this tradition going. As a result, the idea of serving lunch at church came into being. In the beginning, a handful of members rotated serving lunch. It was a huge task. They did it with the utmost care and dedication but because of the time commitment, it was too much for a handful to be responsible for. Thus, we have our current month to month lunch teams. Each month a different team, lead by a designated team leader, prepare and serve lunch on Sundays. The lunch team members of a particular month will meet together, about five to six of them, on a Saturday to prepare lunch for Sunday. Not only eating together but also preparing lunch together has turned out to be an opportunity for fellowship. If anyone is looking to get plugged into Berean, this is a great way to get one's feet wet.

- Sunday School Team
- The Berean S.O.W (Students of the Word) exists to promote each family's proper worship of God through sound biblical teaching and instruction. We exist as a God-centered ministry which focuses first on encouraging, aiding, and challenging the parents of Berean Community Church to fulfill their God-given responsibilities (Deut 6:5-7) in training up their children to best honor the Lord.. Our ministry then exists to lay a foundation for the children of our church through sound biblical instruction through inductive Bible Studies and memory verse assignments.

- Mercy Ministry Team
- The goal of Berean Mercy Ministry is to follow God's command in Matthew 25: 40, "I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me, " by reaching out to the felt needs of our surrounding community. We support various
designated causes throughout the year by donating or helping in any way we can. Our mission is not just to do charity work, but by
mobilizing our resources and energy to help the sick, the poor, the neglected, and the lost, we want to spread the good news of our Lord Jesus Christ to those we minister to.

- Members Care/Activities Team
- One aspect of the MCAT is the strengthen the relationships of the members at Berean Community Church. As the church grows and as the number of members increase, the fellowship at church can weaken and people can feel distant to one another. It is MCAT's goal to unify the members and to build genuine fellowship so that Berean Community Church is running the race in one direction and as one body. The second aspect of the MCAT is to prepare and organize any events that the leadership needs help with. MCAT will be in charge of decorations, preparing food, cleanup, and any other technical aspect of a Berean Community Church event. But most importantly, the MCAT will make it's first priority to pray for the events so that they would glorify God and to ask God for his guidance on the day of the event.

- Child Care Team
- "...He said to them, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. 15I tell you the truth, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it." 16And he took the children in his arms, put his hands on them and blessed them." ~Mark 10:14b-16.
The Child Care Team currently consists of 7 people who take turns watching our precious ones when they are available. On a weekly basis, 2 'sitters' watch the children on Wednesday Night Bible Study while the adults study the Bible. We also spend time with the kids based on certain events that go on with our church. It's not just 'babysitting' but simply caring for the needs of these children as they grow up to know our good God. These needs are not restricted to only their physical needs but their spiritual needs as well. Keep our little ones in your prayer because the kingdom of God really does belongs to such as these... - Child Care Team Blog >
- Setup Team
- The setup team meets up Sunday mornings before service for the purpose of setting up chairs for the congregation. There are 2 teams of about five people who alternate between months. Other duties include the clean up of chairs after service as well as assisting in other miscellaneous activities that require setting up or cleaning up. Though it is no doubt very menial and behind the scenes, it is at the same time very necessary and yet another great opportunity for us to serve by God's strength and for God's glory (1 Peter 4:11).

- Men's Accountability Ministry
- Men's accountability ministry exists to promote personal holiness in the lives of men in the church. We believe that one of God's highest calling for believers is to personal holiness. Pursuit of holiness is a serious issue since we face a culture that is given over to all kinds of sensual lusts. This ministry is open to any and all men whether single or married who desires to fight against the constant bombardment of fleshly desires that wage war against our souls, and to grow in holiness. If you would like to be part of this ministry please contact either Elder Vince or Pastor Aaron.
Following are descriptions of what takes place in the ministry.
> Personal accountability – each participant meets regularly with a partner for personal accountability for confession of sin and mutual encouragement.
> Memorization of Scripture – passages of scripture are memorized on an ongoing basis to fill our minds with God's sanctifying word as the mind is where the battle for purity takes place.
> Reading books – books related to purity/holiness and overall spiritual growth are recommended for reading to keep us enlightened on this issue and to keep us motivated.
> Group meeting – group meetings are held bi-monthly with all the participating men to discuss our struggles, challenges and victorious. - Snack Team Blog >
- Media Team
- The media team and its members are charged with the task of communicating church-related information to the congregation and to the community-at-large. The church and the surrounding community which we serve is a growing and changing body. Because of these changes we need to create and maintain effective means of informing this body of news and information.
As a voice of the church it is also a responsibility to operate and communicate in a manner consistent with the scripture. While still using God's gifts to the height of our creativity and ability, we communicate with ample discretion in order to avoid a message which misleads.
Design, prepare, and publish print materials for church use.
Design, publish, and maintain BCC's website.
Whether you eat or drink, do it for the glory of God. That is the ultimate motivation for this team. - Media Team Blog >
