Holy Scripture

The Bible is God's holy revelation of Himself. We believe in the inerrancy and sufficiency of the word of God. Sunday preaching is expositional and biblically-based and weekly Bible studies are designed to study the Bible verse-by-verse, chapter-by-chapter, and book-by-book. We believe that if we attempt to apply the Bible without first properly interpreting the Bible it will lead to false applications. Understanding the proper context and cultural backgrounds are crucial in understanding the intended message of each passage. Before we can subjectively apply the teachings of God's Word we must first learn to understand its objective truthfulness. Everyone attending Bible studies are encouraged to prepare on their own by employing an inductive method of Bible study. Reading suggested commentaries is not required, but encouraged.
