Hello Berean family,
Today we received some terrible news about one of Korinn's friends at school. After her friend--Yla (pronounced E-la)--went to prom last night, she slept over at a friend's house and ate something she is highly allergic to. As a result, Yla went into anaphylactic shock. The paramedics came but she had no pulse for 30 mins. She is currently in a coma and that is all we know at this time. Yla is, according to Korinn, a Catholic (it doesn't sound like she is saved). Please pray for her and her family. I don't know her parents personally, but being a parent, I know they must be devastated.
Korinn will be responsible to do a write up in the school newspaper about her friend, so please pray for courage and the wisdom she needs so that she can respectfully, lovingly report about a dear friend of hers.
