AmeriCorps Week 2010: We’re Counting on You!

Rebuilding Together Orange County:

Join us on Saturday May 15th for the AmeriCorps Week and Armed Forces Day Rebuilding Together Project. Volunteers will help repair and upgrade homes for low income and disabled individuals through out Orange County and must commit a full day service from 7:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Volunteers will be provided with a rebuilding together t-shirt and lunch.

Members, Alumni, families, friends, and site supervisors and staff are all encouraged to participate. All volunteers must be at least 14 years old.

What they do: Rebuilding Together is the nation’s leading nonprofit working to preserve affordable homeownership and revitalize communities.Their network of more than 200 affiliates provides free rehabilitation and critical repairs to the homes of low-income Americans. Rebuilding Together believes we can preserve affordable homeownership and revitalize communities by providing free home modifications and repairs, making homes safer, more accessible, and more energy efficient.


>> You can sign up in groups if you want to, but they are asking for people to commit to the full day if you choose to sign up. Also, there are a couple forms you have to fill out and bring the day you come, so contact Janice to get these forms.
