Hello Everyone,

I have a prayer request for a friend in ministry. I used to be really involved in a ministry called AZMX (Arizona, Mexico). They do short term mission work every summer on the Navajo Indian Reservation in AZ and in Valle de Trinidad, MX. I haven't been going out the past couple of years, but the ministry is still very near to my heart.

Pastor Ricardo, the pastor that they work with in Mexico, is, I'm sure, always in need of prayer, but specifically now for the following things:

1. the community and the church: that they would be strong in faith during this time, and that they would be able to support the pastor and his ministry. This is a very poor community, so financial support is difficult, especially now.

2. health: he had diabetes and high blood pressure, which has resulted in severe vision problems - near blindness. He has undergone several procedures, but is not doing well. He also has heart problems, which makes it difficult to continue being treated.

One of the AZMX churches will be hosting a prayer and praise night next month to help raise support for Pastor Ricardo and his ministry. If you are interested in attending or supporting, please let me know.
